anyways, tomorrow morning i will be leaving barcelona, heading to marseille via montpellier.
here in barcelona i was just so amazed by gaudi's work. i loved guell park most of all. this is probably my first time to be totally impressed by an artificial object. it was just so amazing.
other than that barcelona seemed just ok to me.. the guy who i was going around with said they should've named this city gaudi and not barcelona, and i totally agree! hehe
as for the thing that happend yesterday morning (the theft and all that), i am starting to kinda appreciate it now. i mean, of course it is a shame that i've lost everything, but at the same time it kinda gave me more freedom. i know it sounds weird but this is how i am feeling right now.
when you have something it seems so precious you never wanna lose it and you even think you can't live without it. but once you lose it for some reason (not always an easy one) , and even if it might be despair that covers your heart all over in the beginning, in the meantime you move onto another height of perspectives; now there is nothing to lose anymore, nothing to keep you in a tight chain of greed.

real trouble
Hey, I am writing this from a hostel in Barcelona.
Why in English? Well, because, I have pretty much everything stolen!!!!!
I had this little backpack (I named him Luke, by the way) with me along with the big one (Mr. G is his name), and kept most of my valuables in there. I took a night train from Cordoba to Varcelona, and when I woke up, Luke was gone! Gone with my laptop, camera, dictionary, music player, USB memory, and yes, cash of more than 2300 euro too.
Everything's pretty much taken care of now though, I went to the police and called the insurance company and that kinda stuff.
And at least I didn't get hurt or killed or anything, and I still have my passport, credit cards, cell phone, plane tickets, and stuff like that, oh, and my diary, too. So please people, don't worry about me too much. Just a nice, warm massage will do. Haha. ;)
Plus, I made a new friend at the police station, he got his wallet stolen on the same train too. And guess what - we are both Japanese. Funny, huh?
Anyway, I'm not gonna let this little accident ruin my whole trip, so I'm gonna go see the great Sagrada Familia with the Japanese friend now.
By the way, thanks for all the comments on my previous posts! It's so nice to hear from you guys in Japan. They do cheer me up a lot. THANK YOU.

やらかしました
おら！ マドリッドからこんにちは。
昨日、やらかしちゃいました、、
泊まってるホステルの同じ部屋で仲良くなったアルゼンチン人と飲みに行ったのち、酔っ払ってトイレで服を失くした。。。。朝起きて我に返りましたが、当然あとの祭り。お掃除のおばちゃんにいかにも「今掃除してんのよ、あんた邪魔よ」みたいな顔で追い払われました。
酒は飲んでも呑まれるな、前にも書いたような気がしますが肝に銘じたいと思います。意識も記憶も全然あったんだけどなー。やっぱりぼーっとしてたんでしょうね。パスポートとかお金とかじゃなくてまだよかったよね。
さて、よく驚かれますが今回が初のヨーロッパです。
すごくすてき！！！！！！ なんか今までとても愛していたNYも色あせて見えるほど素敵です。なにより街並が歴史を感じさせるしものすごくきれい。でも、NYのよさはポジティブとネガティブが混在しているところ、「汚い」ものも一緒に抱え込んでるところにあるんだなー、と思ったり。
物価が高いのだけはちょっと閉口だね、、マドリッドは他の国の首都よりは安いらしいのに、ここでこんなんだったら先が思いやられます。。。ううう。。
今日はプラド美術館に行きました。なんかEU以外の学生は通常料金の半額で3ユーロのはずなのに、チケットカウンターのお姉さんがEUの学生扱いでタダで入れてくれた。わたしがEU出身だと勘違いしてたのかな？ それとも暗黙のルール的なかんじでみんなにこうしてくれてるのかな？ とにかくラッキーでした♪
プラド美術館は、スペイン王家のコレクションがもとになっているらしいのだけど、こんなにたくさんの絵どこに飾ってたの！？っていうぐらいたくさんありました。絵画の美術館としては、世界最大級らしい（←地球の歩き方情報）。わたし的には、特別展ではないほうのゴヤの展示がとても気に入りました。
あと、昨夏イスラエルで発掘に参加して以来、古代ギリシャ・ローマとかの発掘物を見ると「こんなの自分が掘り出したら狂喜乱舞だろうなー」と、どうしても出土の瞬間に思いをめぐらせてしまうのでした。
その後は、宿に帰ってひたすら今後の交通＆宿の予約をしてた。きっと周りには「日本人ってやっぱりPCオタクだな」とでも思われているでしょう。でもしょうがないの！ なぜか知らないけどスペインは今どこも満員！！ 明日はマドリッドからコルドバに移動して夜着く予定なので着いてからホテルを探すという選択肢をとることもできず、泊まるとこなくなったら野宿するほどの度胸も装備もないので、探しに探して唯一空いていたホテルに電話。歩き方にはもっと安い値段で書いてあったので、これ絶対ぼられてるなーと思いながらも仕方ないので予約しました。個室とはいえ、1泊50ユーロはいたいよ・・・(;_;)
ちなみにヨーロッパ内の移動は、Eurail Passっていう提携国の鉄道乗り放題券を使って、ぜんぶ陸路で行きます。かーなり高かったので、もとをとるべくせっせと動き回ろうと思います。人生で一番飛行機に乗った先月とはうって変わって、陸にへばりつく2ヶ月になりそうです。
今後の予定は、
マドリッド→コルドバ→バルセロナ→マルセイユ→リヨン→ジュネーブ（Mずしさん！！）→パリ→...
ってかんじですね。だいたい。
国としては、
スペイン→フランス（＋ちょっとスイス）→ベルギー→オランダ→ドイツ→オーストリア→イタリア→ギリシャ
ってかんじで回ろうと思っています。今月中にオーストリアあたりまで行けたらいいな。
あとね、イギリスは中東の後（中東はギリシャの後）に行きます。イギリスはヨーロッパだけど地続きじゃないしEurail Passも使えないんだもん。しかもユーロじゃないし！！
さて、それでは寝るとします。過去のpostのコメント返せてなくてごめんなさい。また今度。。
もしヨーロッパで、ここはおすすめ！とか、知り合いがいるとか、なにかいい情報があったらぜひとも教えてください！！
